A plan to eliminate the tax man and save the country from suffocating debt in four simple steps
Cut income- and payroll-tax rates by half, except for people earning more than $2 million a year, who will enjoy smaller cuts.
Eliminate all individual deductions and exemptions.
Impose a 12 to 15 percent value-added tax on consumption.
Individuals will no longer have to file tax returns with the IRS. All earned and investment income will be collected by withholding.
